Auto Car Wheel Chrome Magnetron Sputtering Vacuum coating machine
What is Magnetron sputtering vacuum metalizing?
One form of PVD coating technology is magnetron sputtering. The vacuum chamber of the PVD coating machine is filled with an inert gas, such as argon. By applying a high voltage, a glow discharge is created, resulting in acceleration of ions to the target surface from the target. Often an additional gas such as nitrogen or acetylene is used, which will react with the ejected material (reactive sputtering).
Magnetron sputtering uses magnetic fields to increase the plasma density in front of the target. Resulting in increased efficiency, higher sputter rates and improved ion bombardment during the growth of the coating. The coatings are mostly used for tribological and decorative applications.
How Magnetron Sputtering Vacuum metalizing is done? Mainly Process includes
Parts are sprayed with a basecoat
Parts are racked, racks put into the chamber, the chamber is then sealed.
Argon gas is introduced into the chamber in a continuously flowing manner.
Electricity creates an active Argon plasma field in front of the cathode. (The cathode is an assembly with contains magnets and provides a mounting for the target-a plate of the material which will be deposited.)
The magnets are located behind the target.
The positively charged (ionized) Argon atoms are accelerated by passing through a magnetic field (created by magnets are located behind the target.)
The positively charged (ionized) Argon atoms are accelerated by passing through a magnetic field (created by magnets inside the cathode).
The positive atoms are attracted to the negative charged cathode which contains the target.
The targets is bombarded with each ion particle, they individually break off an atom of the target materials with each collision (target hit continuously).
Continuous (and directed) sputtering of the release target atoms are "shot" onto the surface of part
The basecoat material /paint provides a smooth surface for the atoms to be deposited together and build up on the part.
The part is top coated
Why sputtering vacuum metalizing? Sputtering / PVD can be used with plastics, metal, or glass- on pieces utilized in almost any industry, to create tough- wearing and decorative coatings, with excellent results. Applications Magnetron Sputtering Coating Machine for Applications of:
